The youth group continues to meet and discuss issues of faith and the church.
The Youth Mass for Christ the King was a great joy and the parish was joined by Young people from Falkirk, Edinburgh, Fife and Peebles.   A few days later some of the Youth of Galashiels travelled to Fife to join with the Youth there for a mass on St. Andrew's day.

The youth group is a relatively new thing in the border parishes. It consists of any young people from S1 up. We had our first pilgrimage to Rome in October of 2007, and have made two trips to Nunraw, before and since Rome. We have our own monthly magazine that we all have input in. So if you’re interested in becoming one of the youth - contact either Irene, Bobby or Rhona.
