LOURDES PILGRIMAGE

There is going to be a Pilgrimage in 2010.   The Committee has put the following together for the next trip.

The dates are leaving Galashiels on 6th July 2010 and returning on Friday 16th July 2010.

Would you like to join us.

The coach will leave Galashiels in the morning after Mass and travel to Hull for overnight crossing to Zeebruge.

The next day is a journey from Zeebruge to Nevers where we will have Mass in the Church and a tour of the Convent and grounds.   We stay overnight in a local hotel.   After breakfast we depart for our journey to  Lourdes, arriving around 6 pm.   The evening is free.   Saturday we join the Archdiocese for the their welcome Mass.  In the evening you can go to the Youth Mass.   Sunday is the Archdiocese say Mass at the Grotto and in the afternoon we have  the Parish photograph.    Monday we have a Parish Mass in the Morning followed by a coach outing.   We join the Archdiocese for the Torch Light Procession which they lead.  Tuesday we have Mass in the Parish Church.in the morning.   The evening is a social event with the Cardinal joining us for dinner.   We depart Lourdes on the Wednesday morning and head for the outskirts of Paris for an overnight stop.   After breakfast we go to the Rue de Bac for a Mass and tour of the convent and church for the Saint Vincent de Paul.  

We then travel to Zeebruge for overnight to Hull and onward to Galashiels.

There will also be a flight option for those not into coach travel, this will be flight to airport near Lourdes to join tour on the Friday and depart on the Wednesday.
